At Gazegill, we keep rare breeds, from
our mainstay dairy herd of old English Shorthorns,
through our Hampshire Down sheep and to our herd of
Oxford Sandy and Black Pigs, a breed from which Tamworths
and Gloucester Old Spots were bred. We now sell all
our meats direct either from our own farm butchery
every Saturday or at any other time to order.

The cafe has a totally
vegetarian menu. Ingredients are locally sourced,
many organic, with an emphasis on fair trade and
quality. The cafe is a Topaz Well Being Centre,
run by Tameside Oldham and Glossop Mind has a fantastic
vegetarian cafe. It is rapidly gaining a reputation
in Tameside and the north of Manchester for providing
good quality veggie and vegan food at affordable
prices. The cafe prides itself on using fresh locally
sourced ingredients, many organic and serves fair-trade
teas and coffee. The cafe team provide imaginative,
tasty and nutritious food in a welcoming environment.
Judging by the feedback from customers so far, they
seem to be exceeding expectations! Open Monday-Thursday,
10-4pm and Friday 10-3pm
